SCUBA Diving 2-day course (by invite only)

We have teamed up with Hidden Depths Dive school to bring your children a fantastic opportunity to learn new scuba diving skills in a swimming pool environment.  This small group (10 children) 2-day PADI Seal Team course is specifically aimed at younger children aged 9 years and over for their first dive course. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but children should be comfortable in the water.

The course teaches the children responsibility and respect for the underwater world, as well as looking out for themselves and their buddy underwater. The Seal Team course is a recognised certification so the children will receive a certification card from PADI on completion of the course. It also opens future dive opportunities and counts towards an Open Water Diver certification should they choose to progress into more SCUBA as they grow older. 

Drop off at 9am and pick up are at 4pm is at our Mojo Active site in Almondsbury and NOT at the pool. There will be some time spent at our on site Holiday Club prior to leaving for the pool, so children should dress for outdoor activities in addition to bringing swimwear. We transport the children over to the pool for the SCUBA sessions.

• We offer wraparound care on the day, also a minibus service from the café on the Downs departing at 9 am and dropping off at 4.30 pm or from Bristol Grammar School (top of Elton Road in the Bus stop by the Cafe) departing at 8.45am and dropping off at 4.45pm. These incur additional cost and can be selected on booking.

The children should bring: packed lunch & plenty of drinks, layers appropriate for the weather for their time spent at Mojo prior to leaving for the pool (e.g. waterproofs & change of footwear), swim wear and towel, £1 for the locker at the pool, money for tuck if required.
